Route 117 - Daycare

The route is distinguished by its flower gardens and small ponds. Several Pokémon Trainers can be found on Route 117, including Triathletes and Pokémon Breeders. There is also a patch of soft soil on the eastern side of the route. The most important feature of Route 117 is the Pokémon Day Care facility, located to the eastern side of the route.

It takes a full 20 hours for two compatible Pokemon to produce an egg. Pokemon breeders do not need to use the facility to breed pokemon, and can do this on the road. A egg normally hatches within three days.

Depending on a trainers catch rate, they may catch the following pokemon:

Volbeat
Illumise
Roselia
Carbink
Inkay
Onix

Deerling - Spring Form

It is possible to battle other trainers on this route, but only with their permission! Special, unique Pokemon may appear. Once per day, a trainer may battle a pokemon breeder here, who owns four random eeveelutions of the player's choice. After defeating this trainer, you gain one extra level, unless you are a champion class trainer, in which case you will receive two levels.
